Mono

According to the Wikipedia: "Mono is a project led by Novell (formerly by Ximian) to create an ECMA standard compliant .NET compatible set of tools, including among others a C# compiler and a Common Language Runtime. Mono can be run on Linux, FreeBSD, UNIX, Mac OS X, Solaris and Windows operating systems."

Mono is an open source, community project led by Miguel de Icaza. The Mono implementation of the .NET technology comprises in part of a CLR and an implementation of the .NET Class Libraries.

Red Five Labs, has in part used the Mono implementation of the .NET Class Libraries in accordance with Mono's licensing agreement.
